Has the lx1 always had an inflatable liner? Or is that new to 2024 model?
We have this helmet for my son and it does have an inflatable liner. We have the 2022 edition and it has the same. However, be aware that the jaw pads are hard to locate and if you ever have it reconditioned somewhere other than Schutt, be prepared to not fine the jaw pads
@@victoriasbids85 my son has the light LS2 and loves it it’s much lighter than the f7 he did use a f7 for 1 year in 2022 though. Check dicks and scheels they have the jaw pads if you can’t find them on schutts website. Also if you’re looking for the leather ones they discontinued them they only have like the tpu material jaw pads now

What’s the difference between the Schutt f7 2.0 collegiate vs the f7 2.0 professional. Is there a difference?
I want to know how to fix the forefront pad as it is, because of my 8 years old kid is getting hurt by the forefront pad and he's not even getting physical contact, it's happening running routes so far.
Try the f7 vtd I have one right now the padding is really nice in the front I’m not sure about have the 2.0 mine doesn’t come in for awhile but I will. Let you know also it if it hurts for every helmet Mabye the helmet is to small and size up but put air in it so it fits better?

@@sharkeypbg I like it a lot and it’s really comfy I used to wear a speed flex but this is definitely more comfortable I have not had the chance to play in it yet but by feeling and being able to look into it with my own eyes it seems very safe and would be able to take a bigger hit than the speed flex

The outside shell is all the same. The inside uses the internal technology that the Vicis helmets use. It's a benefit of the two companies now being one. That's the best way I can put it, it's a hybrid of the F7 VTD and the Vicis Zero II.

Just asking but have you guys EVER considered bringing back the exact same, original Air Schutt Advantage helmet style but using TPU (thermoplastic urethane) Cushioning on the inside of it??!! Those were VERY popular back in the day in the SEC, Big 8 and Pac 10 and were worn by MANY great NFL stars and Hall Of Famers from Deion Sanders, Lawrence Taylor, Jerry Rice, Marshall Faulk and Eric Dickerson just to name a few.

Each mask should come with 2 spare chin pads. The glue they use to hold the pad to the velcro SUX! I was able to fix it twice but then she lost the darn pad so I had some foam I am making a temporary pad for tomorrow's games. Get it together Schutt!!
